1. Who we are

Pantry Kaki is a product of OWNLANES VENTURES PTE. LTD. (UEN 202629914C), a company registered in Singapore ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for personal data processed through this site.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: email address, authentication identifiers, and (if you sign in with Google) your name and profile picture.
  • Saved recipes: the favourites you save to your account.
  • Usage data: ingredients you submit to search, dietary filters, and request logs needed to operate the service.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and similar information collected automatically.
  • Support messages: anything you send us when you contact support.

Payment and billing data (card number, billing address, tax information) is collected directly by our payment processor, Stripe, and is not stored by us.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

  • Provide the service (account creation, sign-in, saving favourites, generating recipe results) — performance of a contract with you.
  • Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interests in keeping the service safe.
  • Customer support — performance of a contract and our legitimate interests.
  • Product improvement (aggregated usage analysis) — legitimate interests.
  • Legal compliance — where required by applicable law.

4. Sharing your data

We share data only with:

  • Service providers / subprocessors: hosting and database (Supabase / Cloudflare), authentication, AI providers used to generate recipe results, and analytics or support tooling.
  • Stripe, Inc., our payment processor, for payment processing, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process your data outside the UK / EEA. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. Retention

We keep your account data and saved recipes for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the support channel on the site. We aim to respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and Row-Level Security on our database — to protect your data. No system is completely secure, but we work to limit risk.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage required to sign you in and remember your session. We do not use advertising cookies.
